The NC DOT Ferry Division is planning to dredge the Fort Fisher Ferry Basin from December of 2022 to
February 2023. It will be maintenance dredging within a permitted ferry basin. This is the pre-filing meeting
request. An official application will be submitted sometime after November 7 when total material to be removed
has been determined, and timeline is better defined.
