I am planning on submitting the PCN in the near future and since there is no current pre-filing application form, I am providing a summary of the project below. I know DWR is still trying to figure things out, but for now I hope this information will suffice as a Pre-Filing Request. Th Williams Grove-Phase 4 project is a proposed single-family residential development project located at 3706 Stoney Hill Church Road in Bailey, Nash County, NC. The project is approximately 195 acres and the applicant is CT Williams Corporation (Attn: Cecil Williams Jr.). Existing conditions onsite consists primarily of field areas and cut land with some rural structures along Stoney Hill Church Road. General land use in the vicinity of the project consists of forested and fielded land with some rural homes/structures. Whitley Road bounds the property to the West and Stoney Hill Church Road bounds the property to the South. The overall project consists of the construction of a single-family residential development including but not limited to roadway infrastructure, residential lots, utilities, and SCMs. Specifically, there is one (1) road crossing that impacts wetlands. Please see the attached overall site plan and note that this may change as we are working with the engineers to minimize impacts.
