The indicators from Waypoint Lab Report of VL, L, M, H, & VH indicate a rage of nutrient available for plant uptake from very low to very high. Since the permittee is not exceeding a cumulative load or a ceiling concertation and is maintaining pH, there is not a compliance issue. I do not think a comment from DWR is warranted. In 1999, county -based representatives organizations were asked to collect yield data and make a reasoned judgement of the yieldE for va occurring in their county. These data were collected from 87 responses, representing 93 co inties. with available research data and intensively reviewed by a panel of field agronomists, soil scientist soils, crops and climatic conditions in each region. In reviewing the data, the following assu nption I. Realistic Yield Expectations should be based on the average of the best 3 years in a 5 year p a high level of management (top 20% of growers) 2. For soils that may be mapped in multiple regions or in slightly different landscapes (for exarr terraces), the Realistic Yields are based on the most common prevailing conditions for that s for agricultural production. 3.
