Inspection Summary:
Tricia Lowery of the NC Division of Water Resources, Winston-Salem Regional Office conducted a compliance evaluation
inspection of Echota Collection System (WQCSD0383) on 9/27/2022. Brandon Hughes, operations manager, was present
for the inspection.
Mr. Hughes did not have operation and maintenance logs, FOG education information, Sewer Use Ordinance information,
Spill Response plan, and collection system map on hand during the inspection. Mr. Hughes stated this information was
kept at the main office and the information could be emailed to inspector. Inspector emailed Water Quality Labs on
10/6/2022 for information to review for inspection, but as of 10/25/2022, has not received information to review.

Comment: The pump station did not have a fence surrounding the station, however all components are
locked. The pump station is covered by heavy landscape, therefore the identifier sign and the
visual alarm light cannot be easily visualized.
