The City of Raleigh requires that the site must provide stormwater management for the proposed development. The new development must comply with the following criteria: • Nitrogen loading must be below 10.0 Ibs/acre/year. • The post -development discharge from the site shall be less than the pre -development discharge for the 2-year, 24-hour storm and the 10-year, 24-hour storm. • Stormwater management devices should be designed in accordance with the NC BMP Manual Runoff will be collected and conveyed to a pre-treatment device such as a sand filter or stormwater filtering device to promote the removal of sediment (total suspended solids) and nutrients through media filtration. The use of permeable pavers throughout the hardscape will also promote nutrient treatment and peak flow reduction. Ultimately, the peak flow rate will be reduced utilizing an underground storage system before the flow is discharged into the City of Raleigh Storm Sewer System. No runoff from the new impervious surfaces will be discharged into the buffer or stream. October 17, 2022
