Dear Mr. McGee:
Attached are the Town of Old Forts updated industrial pre-treatment sampling plan modifications
for short term monitoring plan (STMP). This submission is for the upcoming 2023 head works
analysis with sampling to occur at the wastewater treatment facility and two local breweries,
Hillman brewery and Whaley Farm Brewery.
The only minor revisions the Town has changed is the wastewater treatment plant no longer land
applies bio-solids and now is taking all bio-solids to the area land fill Caldwell County landfill
and is hauled by Republic Services. Because of no -longer land applying, the Sampling of the
digestive bio solids is no
longer required.
The only other change is the addition of Whaley Farm Brewery which has just opened July 2022.
The first STMP sampling shall begin in the fourth quarter of 2022 with an anticipation date the
second week of November and further quarterly sampling shall follow until third quarter of
2023.
