Modification request due to additional buffer impacts associated with the
replacement of Bridge No. 12 on SR 1116 over Cedar Creek in Franklin
County, Federal Aid Project No. BRZ-1116(1); WBS Element 46039.1.1;
TIP B-5325
Division 5; .

The North Carolina Department of Transportation (NCDOT) has B-5325 under contract and the
bridge replacement work is scheduled to begin soon. Recent review of the project limits
revealed an area of TDE on the SE quad and an area of E on the NE quad were not
included in the buffer impact totals, presented in the May 2, 2014 application.

Therefore Division 5 is providing this letter to report these extra proposed impacts and to
request a buffer authorization modification for the additional buffer impacts totaling 2,100 SF
(1,100 SF in BZ1 and 1,000SF in BZ2), see attached drawing. If you have any questions or
