I saw the new changes regarding a pre-filing be done again before a PCN submittal. I am planning on submitting the PCN in the near future and since there is no current pre-filing application
form, I am providing a summary of the project below. I know DWR is still trying to figure things out, but for now I hope this information will suffice as a Pre-Filing Request.
This project is Laurel Ridge Phase 2B located at 406 Blufftonwood Drive in Pittsboro, Chatham County, NC. The project is approximately 70 acres and is a proposed single-family residential
development. The project applicant is Laurel Ridge Development Inc (Attn: Hadley Kirkland). The overall project consists of the construction of a single-family residential development
including but not limited to roadway infrastructure, residential lots, utilities, and SCMs. Specifically, there are three (3) road crossings that impact streams. Existing conditions
onsite consists primarily of undisturbed forested land. There is an existing 50' utility easement located near the northwestern portion of the property. Blufftonwood Drive bisects the
parcels north to south. General land use in the vicinity of the project consists of forested land with a few rural single-family homes. Dry Creek is located south of the project. Rock
Rest Road bounds the property to the north and Old Graham Road bounds the property to the west. Please see the attached site plan and note that this may change as we are working with
the engineers to minimize impacts.
