Comments: Samples in BOD bottles were aerated with oxygen to levels
ranging from 8.0 to 9.2 mg/1 (average:8.7) in order to compare 5-day BOD
with samples aerated to a higher oxygen concentration--13.0 to 15.2 mg/1
(average 14.0). The set of samples with the initial higher DO had an average
5-day BOD of 3.8 mg/1. The set of samples with the lower initial DO had an
average 5-day BOD of 4.8 mg/1.
