Dear Mayor Bakers
The final plans and specifications for the subject project have been revieved
and found to be satisfactory. Authorization is hereby granted for the construction
of a 10,000 GPD wastewater treatment facility consisting of (5) five 2,000 gallon
capacity septic tanks, a dosing tank with dual alternating siphons, a distribution
box, a 3,040 square foot surface sand filter with approximately 300 lineal feet of
6-inch distribution line, a chlorine contact tank with tablet chlorinator, a flow
measuring device and associated valves, pipes, and appurtenances to serve the Rot
Springs Mousing Authority Project.
This is a Class I Wastewater Teaatment Facility and the person in responsible
charge must hold a valid Grade I Certificate.
This Authorization to Construct is issued in accordance with Part III paragraph
C of iPDES Permit No. NC0049620 issued April 1, 1982, and shall be subject to revoca-
tion unless the wastewater treatment facilities are constructed in accordance with
the conditions and limitations specified in Permit No. NC0049620.
