Ensuring that the facility is professional in appearance and nature picking up anything which does not belong. Also included as a part of good housekeeping is preventative maintenance and proper inspection on all equipment. Other BMPs in place is the utilization of Spill Kits — containing absorbent material at the area. Drains are covered with spill/storm mats during transfers, and finally operating instructions and release instructions being posted. Hoses and valves are inspected regularly and operators are trained in handling and transfer operations in order to prevent spills which could occur as a result from failed hoses/valves/ or overfill. All tanks are located within concrete containment. Most all waters which fall within this area is recycled and utilized in the manufacturing process.
