The North Carolina Department of Transportation (NCDOT) is requesting reauthorization of NW
3 for stream impacts that are necessary for replacement of Haywood County Bridges 175 & 174
on Waterville Road (SR1332) near Walters Hydroelectric Dam in Haywood County, NC. No
work has been completed at this project. Due to budgetary constraints, this project was "shelved"
for a period of time and has now been re -authorized. Work is scheduled to begin in March of
2023.
Section 7
Section 7 issues have not changed since the project was authorized.
Section 106
Section 106 issues have not changed since the project was authorized.
