We are still working with the Land Owner and the Gas Co to come to an amenable decision regarding the fine line details. One thing you guys brought up was extending the culvert. This is amenable to the land owner and the Gas co is considering it as well. The current though would be to extend the culvert the length of the ROW leaving enough space at the discharge end for a drop box. We of course would draw this up showing bringing it to grade then installing culvert and backfilling. Any specifics you would require from me? What paperwork would you require? I think this would be authorized under 3883. We would beat or below thresholds for notification, but within existing ROW. David —the current situation is the impacts have been reduced from the original 90 linear feet to what we think should be roughly around 40 linear feet. We met with DWR and are going to incorporate some natural rock, native plants where possible, etc if this proceeds as armor to the channel. The other option is to place a culvert for the 40 feet of impact. Since this is a reduction (either way we go) and impacts are minor —could I provide you with an updated plan without revising the whole PCN? Thoughts on using a culvert instead of armor? Let me know your thoughts. Thank you gentlemen) Crystal Crystal Fox, CE Environmental Staff Professional *S&ME ENGINEERING INTEGRITY.
