You will need to read the attached word document, or give it to your surveyor and have him correct the issues. Also, Blane Rice, a contact recommended by Mr. Galamb, would be someone you could call with questions (his contact is below). I don’t manage this part of the conservation easement stuff , and I have never had a Mitigation Bank approach the State Properties Office before for land acquisition, so I am not sure what you will need to do to get them to approve it. Calling Blane Rice would be my first recommendation according to Mr. Galamb. DWR will work with you if you need to alter your easement to get approval from the State Properties Office for long term management. Please also make sure you are referring to the correct project name, “Ballahack” and not “Ballenhacken” to avoid any confusion in the future. Please see the note below to see what corrective measures are needed. Blane is a great contact. Eric From: Rice, Blane Sent: Friday, November 14, 2014 11:50 AM To: Galamb, Eric Subject: RE: Ballenhacken Eric, 1 I apologize for not getting this done yet. This conservation easement would not be acceptable to the State Property Office due to the lack of reference to the enabling legislation, the resolution by the Council of State and the incorrect references, (i.e DWQ no longer exists). Also, no history of title exam is provided. The survey does not meet the specifications required for conservation easement acquisitions. Please see attached survey guidelines.
