CRANING Landscapes, Inc "The Perfect Touch to any Mountain Home" October 30, 2014 To whom it may concern: 64 Bella Road Sylva, NC 28779 Phone /Fax: (828) 586 -8303 Spruance Residence Sea Wall Proposal - Construct boulder sea wall as per designed drawings by B. H. Graning Landscapes, Inc. The wall will be used to support the existing earthen bank against erosion during full pool conditions. Proposed wall to have approximate length of 40' and an average height of Wand be constructed 18" below the high water mark of the lake. Wall will be constructed on 57 stone gravel footer and utilize boulders with an average weight of % ton (2'x 3'). Wall footer will be protected with a combination of filter fabric and rip rap to disperse potential wave erosion. Additionally, proposed wall will have integrated French drainage system and geogrid tiebacks (3' lifts) to provide long-term stability and mitigate any potential hydrostatic pressure. All equipment and materials will be mobilized to the site via barge and all impacted areas will be cleaned re- graded and seeded upon completion. Additionally, Contractor will install (2) 6" Pilings on Lakeside of Existing Dock to Provide better Long -Term Security /Stability.
