The DWQ has determined that your application was incomplete and/or provided inaccurate information as discussed below. The DWQ will require additional information in order to process your application to impact protected wetlands and/or streams on the subject property.- Please provide the following clarifying information so that we may continue to review your project. Additional Information Requested: ® OTHER: NW29, Water Quality Certification GC3631 item #6 states: In accordance with North Carolina General Stature Section 143-215.3D(e), any request for written concurrence fora 401 Water Quality Certification must include the appropriate fee. Please note that should you not require. written concurrence, this project would be considered a courtesy copy and no written 401 would be supplied. That is perfectly acceptable since the impacts are below Xhe threshold. Should you desire written concurrence then a fee of $240 would need to be remitted based on the fee structure outlined below. ® Lack of permitting fee. Please note that beginning July 1, 2007, the N.C. General Assembly passed an increase for application fees for all regulatory programs administered by DWQ. The director of DWQ determined that the fee increase would specifically become effective for the 401 Program on September 1, 2007. Applications received as of September 1, 2007 with insufficient funds to meet the legislation will be return. The fee for applications is $240 for projects impacting less than an acre of wetland and less than 1501inear feet of streams whether intermittent or perennial). Please contact this office in writing. If we do not hear from you within three weeks, we will assume that you no longer want to pursue this project and we will consider the project as returned. This letter only addresses the application review and does not authorize any impacts to wetlands, waters or protected buffers. Please be aware that any impacts requested within your application are not authorized (at this time) by the DWQ.
