In support of same, we also provide the following: Deed of August 51988 transferring approximately 524 acres in Anson County, NC to Valley Proteins, Inc. representing the transfer of ownership of property governed by the above referenced non -discharge permit. Articles of conversion of Valley Proteins, Inc. (a Virginia Corporation) to Valley Proteins, LLC dated April 28, 2022. Permit Transfer Agreement dated May 2, 2022 authorizing transfer of ownership of said permit to Darling Ingredients, Inc. We have also been advised by DEQ staff that this application must be submitted in lieu of the permit renewal application and the processing of the enclosed name change application will result in an extended expiration date. Thus, on this advice and understanding, we are not submitting a standard renewal application at this time for renewal of the subject permit set to expire on June 30, 2023.
