Dear Ms. Perez:
Per the Notice of Violation for Peppertree Resort dated October 6. 2022 (copy enclosed),
We would like to respond to the deficiencies of Violation in July 2022.
On 7/14/22, the fecal sample was 46 and exceeded the daily limit. On 7/31/22 , the Total
Nitrogen exceeded the monthly average being 11.21 and the limit is 10 for compliance.
Per the NDMR report for July, 2022, the free chlorine is checked daily as wel as the
nitrate/nitrites. The fecal samples the rest of the month is July were compliant. There will be
high fecal daily sample again in August 2022 on 08/04/22 result being 250. The rest of the
August samples taken for fecal were compliant.
On 7/31/22, the total nitrogen exeeded the monthly limit of 10 being 11.21. On the
August 2022 NDMR report the total nitrogen for the month was compliant under 10.
As noted on the prior inspection of. the WWTF at Sea Isle Plantation North, the mag
meter was defective. We have finally got another mag meter installed replacing the defective
meter to control the flow. We feel this will help in the sampling parameters and compliancy.
We will continue to monitor the results.
