Annual Avg Daily Traffic (veh/hr/day): Design/Future: 2800 Year: 2025 Existing: 1400 Year: 2014 General Project Narrative: (Description of Minimization of Water Quality Impacts) State project 17BP.7.R.140 involves the replacement of the existing NCDOT Bridge #SF-780239 on SR 1998 over Wolf Island Creek. Bridge #SF-780239 consists of 4@13' 9.5" RC rigid frame and mass concrete abutments and interior bents. The proposed bridge consists of 1@70' 24" cored slab with 4'-0" caps. The proposed crossing is located in Zone AE of FIRM Map number 3710799500J and was studied by Detailed methods (Pre -preliminary). A stormwater outfall is proposed at the northwest corner of the proposed bridge and a Rip Rap pad will be utilized to dissipate the energy. No deck drains are required for the proposed bridge.
