I understand that this does not relieve the collection system owner from complying with G.S. 143- 215.67(a) which prohibits the introduction of any waste in excess of the capacity of the waste disposal system. Beck Engineering, PLLC License No. P-1388 5537 Autumn Harvest Drive, Kernersville, NC 27284 Project Narrative For Fox Chase Phase 2 Section 2 In Trinity, North Carolina Fox Chase Subdivision Phase 2 Section 2 is another section of land consisting of 38 single family residential lots off Highway 62 in Trinity, North Carolina. Located just north of Interstate 1-85 in Randolph County, this 12.51-acre tract of land is bordered to the north by an unnamed branch of the Uwharrie River, to the west by Fox Chase Subdivision Phases 1 & 2, and to the east by several single-family homes & Wanda Drive. Once this phase of the subdivision is complete, a variety of 4-bedroom single family homes will be constructed. In recent years, the City of Trinity has built a significant amount of sewer infrastructure to spur development within the area. The same sewer outfall utilized to serve Fox Chase phases 1 & 2 upstream of Phase 2 Section 2 can also be extended east to provide sewer access to this area. To access this infrastructure, typical bore and jack method under a stream will occur. This permit will cover the new construction of sewer mains throughout this project and consists of 1,492 linear feet of 8" PVC and 174 linear feet of 8" ductile iron pipe. The piping listed and installed under this permit will meet or exceed today's design standards and regulations for both the City of Trinity and NCDEQ. The proposed sewer lines will tie to an existing 8" sewer outfall mentioned above. Based on the size, the sewer line has more than sufficient capacity to handle the expected demand from this phase of the project. A total of 18,240 gals/day is expected at full build out of the proposed subdivision using a daily flow of 120 gals/day per bedroom. This total daily flow was calculated using a breakdown of 38 4-bedroom homes. At the completion of construction, the City of Trinity has agreed to take over maintenance of the sewer mains and streets within the project since the utilities will be installed within a public right of way or utility easement. The water mains within the area and this project will be owned and operated by Davidson Water, Inc.
