The site was approved for inclusion into the City of Charlotte's Umbrella Stream and Wetland Mitigation Bank (Bank) by letter dated December 18, 2009. The approved site specific mitigation plan proposed the restoration of 3,203 linear feet of stream channel, the enhancement of 2,924 linear feet of stream channel, and the preservation of 1,957 linear feet of stream channel and 3.64 acres of wetlands. This report documents the success of the stream restoration/enhancement efforts for Year 1 of approved projects in the Upper Stoney Creek Watershed. We have reviewed the submitted report and determined that the proposed credit releases are in accordance with guidelines set forth in the Mitigation Banking Instrument (MBI) entitled, "Agreement to Establish the City of Charlotte, Umbrella Stream and Wetland Mitigation Bank in Mecklenburg County ". Based upon the information provided in this monitoring report and observations made during our September 4, 2014 site visit, we authorize the release of 909.99 stream mitigation credits to be incorporated into the Bank and used for future compensatory mitigation.
