Our entire shoreline is 113', and I will be adding riprap along 36' of shoreline to stop erosion. The rip rap will extend 1' above full pond and 5' below. Thanks again, Joe On Oct 7, 2022, at 09:41, Perez, Douglas J <doug.perez@ncdenr.gov> wrote: Hello Mr. Pressing, Thank you for getting me the forms. I still need to know a few things for your application. First, approximately how long is the shoreline in question? Second, how many feet ABOVE and BELOW full pond (760' elevation) are you looking to install the new rip rap? If you could get back to me on this, I can continue processing your application. I have completed both the on line application and the Catawba Riparian Buffer form. I have attached copies below. In summary I propose adding ^'200 cubic feet of RipRap, and will not remove any existing landscaping, trees, or shrubbery. Please let me know what I need to do next. 1 Thanks, Joe Presing > On Sep 28, 2022, at 14:18, Perez, Douglas J <doug.perez@ncdenr.gov> wrote: > > Hello, > > I am currently in training and thus not able to answer phone calls, so email is the best way to get ahold of me. > For your project, you will need written approval from NCDWR: > https://deq.nc.gov/about/divisions/water-resources/water-quality-permitting/401-buffer- permitting/application-forms-help-documents > If you go to the link above, scroll down to the shoreline header and you will find the online application.
