Apparently all we asked for is a plan to fix the previous stream mitigation that has
previously failed. The consultant is apparently only responding to the USACE and not
this Office. We are not cc'd on the letter. In any event, they did not provide a plan or
even address our November 17, 2000 "on hold" letter requiring the applicant to fix the
stream restoration design. We should probably keep the project on hold until they 1)
provide a plan to fix the stream restoration for our written approval and 2) actually effect
the repair.
I sent a copy of the correspondence to Steve Mitchell requesting his comments.
