4. CUT/FILL SLOPES SHALL BE GRADED AT A MAXIMUM OF 3HAV UNLESS OTHERWISE INDICATED. SLOPES
INDICATED TO BE STEEPER THAN 3:1 BUT EQUAL TO OR LESS THAN 2:1 SHALL BE PROVIDED WITH A PERMANENT
TURF REINFORCEMENT MAT (ACF ENVIRONMENTAL ECP-2 10 OZ OR APPROVED EQUAL).
5. NO GRADING EQUIPMENT SHALL BE PERMITTED ON -SITE UNTIL A LAND DISTURBANCE PERMIT HAS BEEN ISSUED
BY NCDENR.
6. ALL RIP -RAP IS TO BE INSTALLED WITH NON -WOVEN FILTER FABRIC BENEATH (MIRAFI 140N OR APPROVED EQUAL).
7. WHERE PROPOSED EDGE OF PAVEMENT CONNECTS TO EXISTING, CONTRACTOR SHALL MATCH EXISTING
ELEVATION AND CREATE A SMOOTH TRANSITION.
8. INSTALL A COIR LINING IN THE TDD'S IMMEDIATELY AFTER INSTALLATION IN ORDER TO MINIMIZE EROSION AND
PROVIDE A STABLE DITCH LINING. SEED AND MULCH THE DITCH IMMEDIATELY UPON INSTALLATION.
