Correction to Approval

Good afternoon Stephanie!
I hope you are doing well! Our client is ready to go ahead and pay the mitigation fees for the Upper Walnut Creek
Sanitary Sewer Improvements project. As previously permitted, we had an SOA for riparian buffer credits through
Wildlands Holdings III, LLC (see attached 401 Approval and Neuse River Basin Riparian Buffer Authorization). However,
since the City of Raleigh is exempt from the requirement to use private bank credits and private banks were lacking in
riparian buffer credit availability, riparian buffer credits for the project have now been requested through the DMS ILF
program. I have attached the new DMS ILF Request Acceptance Letter for the riparian buffer credits requiring mitigation
as a result of the proposed project.
DMS has requested that we correct the 401 Approval and Neuse River Basin Riparian Buffer Authorization prior to
them issuing the invoice for mitigation fees. Therefore, can you please update the mitigation language in the 401
Approval and Neuse River Basin Riparian Buffer Authorization to reflect that the project is now requesting credits
through DMS ILF rather than the private bank and send the updated document back to me?
Please feel free to reach out if you have any questions or need to discuss. Thank you so much for your time and help!
-Kenzie
