Aqua North Carolina, Inc. (Aqua) offers the following response to the above-referenced Notice of
Violation which was issued for three Fecal daily maximum exceedances on June 2, 23, and 29,
2022.

Aqua’s Response:

Aqua has reviewed the operator log sheets for the days in exceedance of the fecal coliform
limit, and residual chlorine levels appear to have been sufficient for disinfection. To minimize
the risk of future exceedances, Aqua has increased the residual chlorine levels while ensuring
the TRC low level is met.
