We will add boulder toe in that location and extend from the j-hook to the riffle grade control at 4+75, see below. Understand the need/desire to have monitoring for the bankfull events; we can absolutely do that. Based on a conversation with Bryan, he thought this would need an IP instead of WQC 4256. Is there anything that we need to do to get the ball rolling on that, or do you think with the onsite restoration, we could mirror the 29 and get this approved i with 4256? I would be happy to have a call to discuss and get the ball rolling on any additional permitting needs. I have also attached the mitigation form from DMS; we received that the other day, and not sure it was attached to the PCN. Tryon Stream Restoration (DWR #22-1197) Hi Jonathan, So in reviewing the stream restoration/relocation project, I had a few concerns/questions. First, the proposed bend in the stream (see below), seems pretty dramatic to me. With all of the flow in this system, I'd be concerned with that bend being eroded away pretty quickly. Is this bend being proposed to be armored in any way? Is there are way to decrease the angle at which this turns? Given the amount of proposed structures and movement of the stream, I will most likely be requiring qualitative monitoring of this stream for about 4 bank full events, just so there isn't any major hiccups down the line if the system sees a large storm event and decides to shift.
