We are working on the response package for this project and we are going to need compensatory mitigation. I am
currently waiting on an SOA and I am hoping to have by Monday. That being said, would it be possible for the DWR to
grant a 30-day extension for this response?

For the Corps of Engineers you may have an additional 30 days from August 21st, 2022 to
provide a response to the original July 21, 2022 email requesting more information for this
project. Please coordinate with Colleen Cohn, with DWR, and provide any information she is

Camden,
I have been reviewing the Williams Grove SD PCN and associated impacts being requested. I
have included the impact area in the map below. The request to install a road through the
headwaters of a small wetland in the location indicated will result in a total take of the upper
or west end of the wetland. The plans indicate a roadside swale that has a drainage effect as
well as the remaining wetland section is platted to be in the middle of a yard which will result
in the new owner requesting to fill it. You will need to either redesign the road to avoid the
impact to the wetland or request the entire wetland from the east side of the road to the
western tip as an impact. Let me know if you have any questions.
