Hey Helen, I measured the water coming from the cooling towers at our Rose Hill Plant today and it showed that it is around 1800 gallons a day. A lot of this water is coming from the #2 cooling tower that is leaking. We have ordered a new cooling tower to replace it; it is supposed to arrive the first of March. We are adding 2 chemicals to the cooling tower water. I called Bill Bowes with Chemtreat (252-945-8522) to discuss; he is the guy that services the account and cooling towers. He said one quart a day of sodium hydroxide is added to aid as a corrosion inhibitor and 2 quarts a day of sulfuric acid are added to aid as a scale inhibitor. i The water gravity flows to offal and thus to waste water treatment currently. Please let me know if you have any more questions, Chris
