Good morning All,
The DWR review of the Carolina Beach State Park wetlands restoration project in New Hanover
County has determined the scope of work does not require an individual water quality certification
from the DWR. However, the scope of work shall be conducted on compliance with conditions listed
in the attached Water Quality General Certification No. 4255 for Aquatic Habitat Restoration,
Establishment and Enhancement Activities.
This concurrence is specific to the impacts depicted in your application request and supporting
materials received on August 3, 2022 and the USACE no permit required correspondence received
by the DWR on August 8, 2022 . If the scope of work associated with this project changes you
must notify this office and may be required to obtain a new certification.
