The following operations have requested to be removed from the register or have gone out of business or
need corrections to their registration in Union county.
Facility No. 90-06 Simpson's Egg, Inc.: This is Simpson's Egg original facility. They have built a new
facility across the road (#90-01) and this operation has been closed down. The lagoons are going to be closed out to
NRCS Standard and there are no birds on -site. I have included Mr. Simpson's signed request for removal. I can
confirm that this operation can be removed from the register.
Facility No. 90-57 Rolling Hills Dairy: This operation is moving to a new location, and I have included
Mr. Thomas' signed request for removal. This operation is leasing an existing operation in Stanly County and this
facility is being closed. There are also plans to close the ponds to NRCS Standards. I can confirm that this
operation can be removed from the register.
Facility No. 90-41 Warren Rogers Farm: This farm is out of business, but Mr. Rogers is trying to sell
the operation to someone who may restart production. This farm last had hogs in June of 1996. If Mr. Rogers does
not sell this operation by the end of the year he is going to request removal and he has the appropriate paperwork. I
can confirm that this operation can be removed from the register upon receiving Mr. Rogers request form.
Facility No. 90-26 Jerry Autry Farm: This operation is out of business and there are no hogs on -site. I
left a copy of the request for removal for with the owner's wife. I can confirm that this operation can be removed
from the register upon receiving Mr. Autry's request form
