Mr. Boss,

The wastewater treatment plant was found to be in violation of the SOC for the month of August.
Upon review of the data, it was found that we were out of compliance for the monthly average
TSS and BOD weekly average. This was due to several weeks of very heavy afternoon
thunderstorms. This caused too much turbulence through the secondary clarifiers to allow for
proper settling. Should you have any questions please let me know.
