Impact Areas A, B, and C (below) are all located south of Winston Road, and Impact Area D is located north of Winston Road and would be an extension of Castlewood Drive. Description of projects area and activity: This verification authorizes the use of Nationwide Permit 29 to construct four crossings of Waters of the United States. Imuact Area A would require the permanent imuact of 0.067 acre of Wetland 11 (Impact WI). and 0.007 acre of Wetland 12 (Impact W2) to construct a road crossing. Stream A would also be crossed and result in the loss of 88 linear feet (lf) (902 square feet (sf)) of Stream A to accommodate a culvert (Impact Sl), 17 If (189 sf) for a stream pump around (Impact S2), and 161f (252 sf) to install riprap (Impact S3). Impact Area B would require the permanent impact to 0.049 acre of Wetland 26 for road fill (Impact W3), 0.004 acre of Wetland 25 for riprap stabilization (Impact WO, and the temporary impact to 0.006 acre of Wetland 26 for construction access. Impact Area C would require the permanent conversion of 0.027 acre of Wetland 17 (Impact W6) and 0.036 acre of Wetland 18 (Impact W8) for sewerline construction and maintenance, and the temporary impact to .011 ac of Wetland 17 (Impact W7) and 0.015 acre of Wetland 18 (Impact W9) for construction. Stream A would also be crossed, temporarily disturbing 281f (137 sf) to accommodate open -trench installation. Impact Area D would require the permanent loss of 72 if (576 sf) of Stream J to install a culvert for a road crossing (Impact S5), 161f (192 sf) of Stream J to install riprap stabilization, and the temporary impact to 17 If (136 sf) of Stream J to install a pump around. Mitigatable impacts associated with this pro 0ect would include 0.127 acre of wetland loss, 0.063 acre of wetland conversion, and 1601f (1468 sf) of stream loss. This verification also authorizes as an after the fact impact, 0.048 acre of wetland loss associated with a road crossing not previously captured in the permitting history. The impacts verified herein build upon previously constructed impacts.
