Dear Permittee:
The North Carolina Division of Water Resources conducted an inspection of the Tillery Hydroelectric Plant
on 9/14/2022. This inspection was conducted to verify that the facility is operating in compliance with
the conditions and limitations specified in NPDES WW Permit No. NCG500189. The findings and
comments noted during this inspection are provided in the enclosed copy of the inspection report
entitled "Compliance Inspection Report".
There were no significant issues or findings noted during the inspection and therefore, a response to this
inspection report is not required.
The Tillery Hydroelectric Plant was a well -maintained facility with excellent record keeping. A review of
records for sampling results was done during the inspection, the months included: 10/2020, 1/2021,
7/2021, 10/2021, and 4/2022. A site tour was done as part of the inspection. The facility was well -organized
and maintained.

The Tillery Hydroelectric Plant was a well -maintained facility with excellent record keeping. A review of
records for sampling results was done during the inspection, the months included: 10/2020, 1/2021,
7/2021, 10/2021, and 4/2022. For each data set a sample is being taken upstream, at the effluent,
and downstream. The records include lab information for each sample set, The Analytical Lab. A
summary and information about the labs certification is included with each set of results. A site tour
was done as part of the inspection.
