Authorizing development in 1-1yde County at Swan Quarter at DOT ferry basin & channel
, as requested in the permittee's application letter dated 6/26/14' including
the attached workplan drawings 05)dated 2/28/14.
This permit, issued on 1912.1/14 , is subject to compliance with the application(where consistent
with the permit), all applicable regulations, special conditions and notes set forth below. Any violation of these terms may
be subject to fines, imprisonment or civil action;or may cause the permit to be null and void.
New Welcome Center and Associated Infrastructure
1) Unless specifically altered herein, this minor modification authorizes demolition of the existing
welcome center, construction of a new welcome center, additional paved parking areas, additional
sewer utility lines, an emergency fire supply pipe, an asphalt drive for fire truck access, and
relocation of existing water lines, all as depicted on the attached workplan drawings.
2) The fisheries moratorium contained within the original Permit No. 202-86 issued on 10/14/86 shall
not apply to any of the activities authorized by this minor modification.
3) No vegetated wetlands or Waters of the State shall be excavated or filled, except at the location of the
authorized emergency fire supply pipe, without permit modification.

This permit action may be appealed by the permittee or Signed by the authority of the Secretary of DENR and the
other qualified persons within twenty (20) days of the issuing Chairman of the Coastal Resources Commission.

6) Sewer line utilities that cross Oyster Creek shall be installed using a horizontal directional bore drilling

shall be outside of all wetlands and waters of the State, and shall not be located within 30 feet of the
normal water level.
7) Any utility work associated with this project that is not specifically depicted on the attached workplan
drawings, or described within the attached permit application, shall require approval from DCM, either
under the authority of this permit, or by the utility company obtaining separate authorization
8) Materials and/or debris shall not enter wetlands or Waters of the State, even temporarily.
9) Construction staging areas shall be located only in upland areas, and not in wetlands or waters of the
State.
10) This minor modification authorizes only the development that is expressly and specifically set forth in
the permit application and shown on the attached workplan drawings. No other structures, whether
floating or stationary,may become a permanent part of this project without additional authorization
from DCM. No non-water dependent uses of structures may be conducted on, in, or over public trust
waters without permit modification.
11) This minor modification shall be attached to the original of Permit No. 202-86, which was issued on
10/14/86, as well as all subsequent modifications, refinements, and renewals, and copies of all
documents shall be readily available on site when a Division representative inspects the project for
compliance.
12) All conditions and stipulations of the active permit remain in force under this minor modification unless
altered herein.
13) This minor modification does not eliminate the need to obtain any additional permits, approvals or
authorizations that may be required, including but not limited to any from the U.S. Army Corps of
Engineers.
