Dear Mr. Boss,
This letter is written on behalf of the Buncombe County Schools to provide information
as to remedial action taken to the above referenced facility in reference to NOV letter
dated September 7, 2022 attached.
We exceeded the daily maximum BOD limit of 45 mg/L for sample taken on 6/28/22
with 79.2 mg/L. We do not know what caused this spike but the school had two weeks of
no flow conditions prior to the sample taken. We asked the lab to double check their
results since there was a lab quality control error on the report. The lab did not find an
error in their results.
