Subject: Town of Old Fort(NC0021229) Short Term Monitoring and Head Works Analysis
Mr. McGee
The Town of Old Fort would like to request for an extension for the Short-Term Monitoring and
Head Works Analysis. Since the last sampling was completed, the town has had some changes.
The Class A Land Permit has been reseeded. Another significant industrial user(Whaley Farm
Brewery)has opened. We fill that new sampling would give the town the best and more
representative results for the Head Works Analysis. The town request that we can begin
sampling the fourth quarter of 2022 and sample the first, second and third quarter of 2023. The
town feel that this will be better for the Short-Term Monitoring and Head Works Analysis.
