Because the rules say "approximately shown" on the USGS topographic map and/or the NRCS soil survey, it is a little difficult to tell specifically what is on that parcel. At a quick look, it does appear to be a feature shown on the USGS topographic map, and there may be two on the NRCS soil survey. Typically if someone were planning to do something (like build a house) on that parcel, we would tell them that they would need a Buffer Determination to see if the streams are present. i Colleen Cohn Environmental Specialist II North Carolina Department of Environmental Quality Division of Water Resources Raleigh Regional Office 380o Barrett Drive Raleigh, NC 27609 Office: 919-791-4258 E-mail correspondence to and from this address may be subject to the North Carolina Public Records Law and may be disclosed to third parties.
