Subject: RE: [External] Neuse buffer question
Hi Seth,
That address is indeed in the Neuse River basin. Because the rules say "approximately shown" on the USGS topographic
map and/or the NRCS soil survey, it is a little difficult to tell specifically what is on that parcel. At a quick look, it does
appear to be a feature shown on the USGS topographic map, and there may be two on the NRCS soil survey. Typically if
someone were planning to do something (like build a house) on that parcel, we would tell them that they would need a
Buffer Determination to see if the streams are present.

Hi Colleen,
I have another plat for submittal that I need to know if it requires a 50' Neuse buffer. It doesn't look like much
of anything on GIS but the planning department needs me to check. I have listed some information below
about the property. Thank you for any help you can provide!
