On behalf of ExxonMobil Environmental Services (EMES), ARCADIS G&M of North
Carolina (ARCADIS) is submitting this Notification of Intent to Construct or Operate
Injection Wells (Attachment A) to the North Carolina Department of Natural Resources
(NCDENR) Division of Water Quality — Aquifer Protection Section at Former ExxonMobil
Facility #45552 located at 1920 Chimney Rock Road in Hendersonville, Henderson
County, North Carolina. ARCADIS is proposing to conduct a small scale sodium
persulfate injection of less than 10,000 square feet at the site to reduce dissolved -phase
chemicals of concern (COCs) to concentrations below the applicable North Carolina
Gross Contaminant Levels (GCLs) for Groundwater.
