This rule requires all geothermal aqueous closed -loop wells to be grouted the entire length of the well boring from the bottom of the boring to land surface or, if completed below land surface, to the well header or manifold connection. The variance request is for the construction of one (1) geothermal well system at 894 White's Lake Blvd., in Saluda,. Henderson County, North Carolina. Based upon the signed agreement with your HVAC contractor land the information provided by your well: contractor, it is my finding that the factors specified are sufficient to satisfy the conditions for approval of a variance as defined in 15A NCAC 2C.0241. Please note the variance conditions, listed below, regarding the construction of this well system. The variance will be effective for a period of six (6) months beginning from the date of issuance.
