Okay, we will need to “back track” a little, because banks are supposed to request & receive approval in writing before
being able to utilize that memo on projects that had their BPDP approved before the memo went out. I’ll need to have a
signed and sealed survey showing the acreage changes. Just like Ezell. It will get approved, so that’s not a problem, we
just have a procedure that I have to follow.
Thanks for your patience,
Katie

Katie,
Yes, I believe the map has 100 foot buffers and not 50 foot. The project has not been planted yet, but will this fall. Please
let me know if there is anything else you need from EBX.
Thanks,
Cara

No problem. By the way, I noticed Eric put something in my Arrington Bridge file that was titled “100 foot buffers”. Cara
sent this map (see attached). Is this a 100 ft buffer on that stream instead of the approved 50 feet that was described in
the BPDP? If so, I’ll need to figure out how to document this, because there wasn’t any email exchange I can find from
Eric where he accepted that. It’s okay to do that according to Tom’s memo, but there is an approval process we go
1
through to document any changes from what was approved in the BPDP & As-Builts. Banks still have to notify and
receive approval (via a release of course) for adding buffer mitigation in that 51-100 feet. Eric wouldn’t have known any
different, which is why he sent the release letter anyway.
Please let me know if that is what happened. I ask this too, because that will affect how we move forward on the
Addendum for that additional area.
Thanks,
Katie

Norton,
Please provide a signed and sealed survey showing the area proposed as additional buffer credits (square feet of the
additional area please), this is what you would normally provide with your As-Built. This is what we need to verify the
square feet of the area being claimed as mitigation credits. Eric has concurred that the additional areas proposed for
buffer credit are acceptable. However, prior to issuing the credit release, I need a survey. Please see the attached
survey (showing the different zones of the mitigation areas & the area broken out in square feet/acres) that was
submitted by EBX when the same type of request was received for the Ezell Mitigation Bank.
Thanks,
Katie

Here is what I have on the FC buffer request. This is not on the shared drive so feel free to save it wherever you want.

th
I am scheduled to take Eric Kulz out to Forest Creek for the additional buffer on Tuesday (Aug 26). I might be able to fit
Ivy-Ferguson into the day if Eric agrees. I will let you know.
Thank you.

They should finish Ivy-Ferguson tomorrow. I will check with George in the morning. They are fully aware of
the situation and working as fast as they can to complete it.
