Re: Oil Spill
On 3/ 1/2019 at approximately 10:35 am Tony Rose received a call from
employee Todd Roberts of oil spill at 233 Pineview Dr. The oil was spilled
while Todd was doing our bulky waste pick- up and the 5 gallon bucket
was hidden in pile of debris. We are estimating that 3 gallon of oil came
onto the ground and run down the curb line. Todd placed a dam of dirt/
grass in curb line until Tony was able to get there with the Gator
product/oil dry. Roger Silver and Will Gay were called to site to bring
shovels, brooms and trash bags. The crew then cleaned the Gator/oil dry
up out the curb and placed in trash bag for proper disposal. The
remaining oil that was in the bucket was poured into another bucket
with lid and transported to shop and placed in oil drum. We then
reinstalled some more Gator/ oil dry on the ground and in curb line for
any remaining oil that could be left. The site clean-up was completed at
