Dear Mr. Doom:

On September 8, 2022, Dorothy M Robson of the Raleigh Regional Office reviewed the 2021 Annual Land
Application Report for permit WQ0001989. The report was received February 24, 2022. The report was
prepared by Synagro.

According to the 2021 Land Application report Annual report, a total of 220.28 dry tons of biosolids was
processed in 2021 and land applied to 7 fields totaling 138.3 acres. The residual biosolids meet the
requirements for class B residuals. The facility also analyzed the residuals for non-hazardous constituents,
metals, nutrients, pathogen and vector attraction reductions four times per year, as stipulated in the May 5,
2021 permit. The facility conducted monitoring annually, as stipulated in the permit.

The residuals were transported and applied to the following approved fields:
 57.09 dry tons to Red Hill Plantation LLC, field GR-60-1
 24.25 dry tons to Red Hill Plantation LLC, field GR-60-2
 21.33 dry tons to Red Hill Plantation LLC, field GR-60-3
 14.08 dry tons to Red Hill Plantation LLC, field GR-60-4
 59.46 dry tons to Red Hill Plantation LLC, field GR-60-5
 38.74 dry tons to Red Hill Plantation LLC, field GR-60-6
 05.35 dry tons to Red Hill Plantation LLC, field GR-60-7

There were no significant issues or findings noted in the report review and therefore, a response to this
