Quarterly report as required by SOC section 2 (b) 8.

The third quarter at the Town of Waynesville WWTP has gone relatively well. We got the Most
northern primary clarifier back in operation. We had to replace the motor and the gears in the
gearbox on the turntable drive. We have had several power glitches due to afternoon storms, but
no major damage has been reported. The Secondary clarifiers have been operating as efficiently
as possible. We were able to run the belt press sufficiently to reduce the solids we have been
holding. That made it possible for us to effectively Waste sludge and keep the MLSS down to a
manageable level. We met with Mark Cathey with McGill and went over the operational
requirements for the upcoming project. They are still very optimistic that we will be able to start
construction in November. The Plan is to upgrade the belt press early in the rehab for us to be
able to remove sludge more efficiently. This will give us better control over operational changes
as Harper works on different pieces of the treatment
