Wasteload Allocation Summary
(approach taken, correspondence with region, EPA, etc.)
This is a request to expand the existing discharge of 0.02 MGD to 0.08 MGD. Discharge has a
dilution ratio of 36:1 and as a result the permit should contain a fecal coliform limit of 200/100 ml.
Secondary limits are predicted to protect the DO standard according to Level B model results. No
instream monitoring is necessary for this discharge.

PART IV - EVALUATION AND RECOMMENDATIONS
The Asheville Regional Office recommends reissuance of NPDES
Permit #NC0024376 allowing expansion to 80,000 gpd. With the
increased flows, the dilution rate will decrease to 25:1. At this
time, no fecal limit is in the permit; a limit should be included.
