Mr. A.C. Skinner is requesting a renewal of State Permit No. 23-07 for continued maintenance dredging
surrounding the existing docking facility, located along Sloop Point Road, adjacent to the AIWW, in Topsail
Sound, Pender Co. State Permit No, 23-07 was issued on April 3, 2007 and was scheduled to expire on
December 31, 2010; however, State Permit No. 23-07 was subject to extension by the Session Law 2009-406,
and as amended by Session Law 2010-177, the Permit Extension Act, The expiration date for State Permit No.
23-07 is December 31, 2014. The permittee is requesting a Five Year maintenance clause to allow for
continued development.
This Office has no objection to the renewal of State Permit No. 23-07 with the 5-Year Maintenance
Clause. The agent has included a check (ck no. 8478) in the amount of $100.00 for the renewal.
