THAT FOR j;ND IN CONSIDERATION of the sum of Thirty Thousand Eight Hundred Dollars
($30,800.00), the receipt of which by the --State Highway and Public Works Commission is hereby
acknowledged, the State of North Carolina has bargained and sold, and does by these presents
bargain, sell, and convey unto the said party of the second part, its successors and assigns,
all of that certain,tract or parcel of land situate in IJake County, North Carolina, and bounded
and described as follows:
BEGINNING (Station 1) at a nail and cap in the center of the county bridge over Richland
Creek on the road leading from the State Prison Car.2p to Crabtree Park from which an iron pipe
bears North 39 degrees West, 53.0 feet, and an iron pipe bears North 89 degrees West, 82.0 feet,
and running thence downstream along the middle of Richland Creek North 3 degrees 18 minutes
East, 200.00 feet to Station 2, a temporary point in the stream; thence continuing down said
stream as follows:
