Site inspection was conducted on September 13, 2022 by Kevin Mitchell with the Asheville Regional Office. Reid
Whitehead, Nick Adams, and Jeff Mayland were present during the inspection. The following are items that need
attention:
- Retaining Wall across from NCDOT Field Office - Add groundcover to areas near JS.
- Station L 158+00-161+00 LT (Site 12) - Channel change has downcut further. All structures need repair. Proper
channel dimension is required. Need to include Patrick Breedlove or Kevin Barnett on repairs and oversight.
