Please provide a brief description of this project (attach site plan if available):
Currently. the Williams Propertv, which consists of eight parcels, is in a land locked position (no vehicular
access). We plan to construct a 4,400 linear feet of road to access the Williams Property. In order to
accomplish this, the road must cross one perennial stream. This stream bisects this 108 parcel and is therefore,
unavoidable. We have shifted this crossing to the east to avoid a more sinuous alignment. We have identified
wetlands and streams on the entire parcel and the Williams Property and submitted our findings to the Corps.
At this crossing, we plan to install a 72-foot long, 48-inch wide reinforced concrete pipe in the stream bed,
place earthen fill for the roadbed and shoulders, install a 32-foot long by 36-foot wide by 24-inch tall apron on
the northern end of the pipe and a 16-foot long by 12-foot wide by 24- inch tall apron to the south end of the
pipe. This is the only crossing needed by the development. The development will be constructed in uplands.

There is no access road to the propert~The property is located west of River Forest Road ,
north of Eaton Ferr~Road (NC Route 903), and east of the powerline easement along the southern shoreline
of Lake Gaston. See attached vicinity map.

In addition, Scott Conley of our office attended the 401 express review training session held by DEO approximately two

There are no known objections to the construction of this access road. We have received support from adjacent
property owners who plan to utilize this road to access their land locked property.
