Page#1 DocuSign Envelope ID: FB1EED76-DB26-452C-AA69-CE85C7853671 9/7/2022 NPDES yr/mo/day 22/08/04 Inspection Type C3111218 1 Section D: Summary of Finding/Comments (Attach additional sheets of narrative and checklists as necessary) On 8/4/2022, I (Daniel Boss) conducted a Compliance Evaluation Inspection of the Single Family Residence wastewater facility at 13 Foxhorn Court. I met with owner James Vargo for the inspection. Mr. Vargo was not certain of the location of all the components of his wastewater system. There was no ponding anywhere on the surface of his yard, so it's unlikely that the sand filter system is failing. The sand filter system should be located for maintenance purposes. This system does not have a disinfection unit which is required under General Permit NCG550000 Part I B. Treatment System Requirements. Either a chlorinator, chlorine contact chamber, and dechlorinator system; or an ultraviolet light disinfection system should be installed to meet this requirement. The effluent pipe was located and it was not discharging. However there are two white pvc pipes that could be the effluent discharge, and it should be determined which pipe is the wastewater discharge line. NCG550227 17 (Cont.) (Approximately 3 to 1) The sand filter was not located, but there was no ponding in the area between the septic tank and the discharge pipe.
